Katherine W. Muller

Muller, Katherine W. WEST SAND LAKE Katherine W. (Hoerrner) Muller, 98, formerly of West Sand Lake died Monday, December 10, 2007 at Evergreen Commons Nursing Home in East Greenbush after a lengthy illness. Born in Ludwigshafen, Germany she immigrated to the United States in her early 20s, and was a resident of the Capital Region for many years. Katherine was a home health aide and did private duty service. She was a hard worker, and enjoyed needle point, knitting, gardening, and was a talented seamstress. Katherine was predeceased by her husband, Rene Muller and her parents, John and Florentine (Claus) Hoerrner. She is survived by her daughter, Katherine Snow of East Greenbush and her son, Rene J. Muller Ph.D of Baltimore, Maryland. Also survived by her grandchildren, Kristin (Roger) Colgan, Tara Snow, Thomas R. Snow Jr., Anthony R. Snow and three great-grandchildren, Kayla, Jenna and Brandon Colgan. Services were private at the convenience of the family and interment was in Albany Rural Cemetery Menands, N.Y. The family has requested that those who wish to remember Katherine make contributions to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation 6 Greenwood Dr. E. Greenbush, NY 12061 in her memory. The family would also like to extend their thanks to Evergreen Staff on 1 Wynantskill Way for the kindness and care shown to them and Katherine.
