John Baldwin Obituary

Baldwin, John S. Sr. WATERVLIET John S. "Jack" Baldwin Sr. passed away on Sunday, December 9, 2007. Born in Hunter, N.Y., he was the son of the late Vaille and Coretta Baldwin. Mr. Baldwin was an Albany resident for most of his life before moving to Watervliet. He served in the U.S. National Guard. Jack worked for the City of Albany before retiring after over 22 years of service. He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose #80 before they merged with the Loyal Order of Moose #1332 where he held the rank of governor in past years. Mr. Baldwin was also a member of the Colonie Elks Lodge #2192, He was an avid hunter and a diehard New York Yankees fan. Jack was the beloved husband of the late Ruth Dowen Baldwin. He is the devoted father of Christine (Ronald) Kosa of Watervliet, John E. (Linda) Baldwin Jr. of Clifton Park, Charles (Jill) Baldwin of Interlaken, N.Y., Diane Baldwin of Watervliet, Patricia (David) Kettlewood of East Greenbush, Robin (Stephen) Apisa of Watervliet, Thomas Baldwin of Watervliet and the late Anne Arroyo. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Saturday morning at 9:00 at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Calling hours will be Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Graceland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 440 New Karner Rd., Albany, NY 12205 or the American Diabetes Association, 7 Washington Square, Albany, NY 12205 in memory of John S. I was sad to hear about Uncle Jacks passing.
I wanted to attend his services but I was sick and couldn't go.

I believe when a person dies, they are healthy again....
He is in heaven now with Aunt Ruthie & Anne and they're all together watching over the entire Baldwin family.
