Janice was a good friend. We shared both a professional relationship and personal friendship. I will always treasure the wealth of knowledge that she shared with me when we worked together. I remember Janice most for her love of life and others. No matter how difficult the journey was at times, you could always count on Janice for a pick me up and one of her wonderful truthism. She could make you smile by just a look. Thank you Lord for sharing Janice with us. I am looking forward to a big reunion.

Bill and Deborah,
This world was not her home. Janice was just passing through. Her treasures are layed up somewhere beyond the blue. The angels beckoned her to Heaven's open door, and she just wasn't at home in this world any more. Janice was my first and oldest friend when I moved to Jacksonville in 1987. We became best buddies. I've never laughed so much and had someone ready with a shoulder to cry on. Being from Kentucky I was just amazed at the palm trees. Janice thought that was a hoot, so she bought me a green blowup palm tree at Spensers. I still have it. It now makes me smile and cry. I look forward to seeing her again. Patti Williams

Janice was one of those "true" friends. She was always there when I needed her. I remember the very first time I met Janice. She came to help me when I needed someone. She came right after work that very same day she found out I needed help. What a friend!! We loved to make each other laugh!! What a great sense of humor she had. I have truly been blessed by knowing Janice and to have her call me her friend. We had a very strong Christian bond that I will truly miss. Bill, Sandy and the rest of the family: you are all in my prayers. Jean Sears

It is with heartfelt compassion and understanding of your loss of Janice. She was an Earth Angel and a joy to have her walk the halls of Ribault. I lost twins after two years of marriage and lost my oldest sister in 2004, and my mother, other Ribault sister, father, brother-in-law and step-brother-in-law all within five months of one another ending on March 22 and 23 of this year. They say that time heals all wounds, but it doesn't. God can, but time only diminishes the day to day pain; it takes such a long time to find the peace and comfort that you so long for. As Christians, you know that she is in a better place than we are, and that, thankfully, like my family, she isn't suffering any longer. I, and my husband will pray for God to embrace and comfort you and your family and Janice's closest friends as you go through this, the most difficult time. I hope that you will find a modicum of comfort in knowing how much joy, love and laughter she spread throughout her young life. Love in Christ, A Class of '67 Classmate.

God saw her getting tired, a cure not meant to be, so He put His arms around her, and whispered......
"Come With Me"

I was dismayed to hear of Janice's passing. She and I worked together at Swett & Crawford in Clearwater FL for 3 years. She was always making us laugh with her stories of Bill and her mama. We loved to go to lunch together. It was such a stress reliever. She truly made the day pass faster.
