This will be the last entry for the memory book. Today it will have been 30 days that Frank left us here. I pray that he knew how very much I loved him and how difficult it will be for me to go on without him. He was my best friend as well as my Husband (and "MSP"). He was a buddy and a pal as well as Father to every one of our children and they loved him unconditionally. May he rest peacefully until we meet again.

Dearest Blanche and Family...our thoughts and prayers are with each one of you at this extreme sad time. For us, his friends/classmates we are still in a shock and numbness...cannot imagine the depth of emptiness you all are feeling. We were so privileged to have Frankie in our lives. He touched countless, countless folk and even their families. What a legacy he left as we read all the memories and expressions of love and admiration. Douglas, Jan, and I could not have complimented Frankie enough on the Web site he created for the class and reunion. He did such a fantastic and awesome job. We will always remember and talk about our WebMaster. Our Lord and Savior blessed us all by having Frankie Cribbs in our lives. The world has been made a better place by having Frankie in it. Our continued prayers will be with you in days ahead. Take care.

Dear Blanche; Our hearts hurt. Frank was a fun, friendly, big bear of a man. We feel lucky to have met him and you at your home in Murphy a few years ago. His generosity at giving us one of his prized Gator Santas was so touching, and each year, there he is! Frank, Bob and Hank carried on some interesting e-mail 'conversations' and Bob will especially miss him. Please take some comfort in the fact that everyone who was touched in some way by Frank during his life are thinking of you at this time.

Blanche and family:
At our Picadilly dinner Tuesday night it seemed like we all were waiting for Frankie to walk in the room and command us to smile and give us a hug. I will never forget the 40th reunion and all of his excitement the whole weekend! Thanks for sharing him with the great Ribault Class of 67. Go Trojans

Christa and I met Frank one year ago at Scott and Sandra's wedding in Utah. Instantly, we felt we had know him for years. He touched us right away with his friendliness and good spirit. It was a pleasure to be in Frank's company. We had remained in contact throughout the last year. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family. We will miss him dearly.
Scott, my thoughts are especially with you in this very difficult time.

On a dreamer's throne
who pushed for reality
we were blind to his mortality
We all knew he was Superman
able to beat
any sort of feat
If you were depressed
he was there
not incapable to care
When kryptonite struck
no one was tear-less
but their he was, strong and fearless
Though he lives through us
we will never stop the fuss
This world had a hero
Now we are left with zero

Bubba was the most wonderful friend you could hope to have. His sense of humor and love of life filled all of us blessed to know him. He was probably the biggest Gator fan in the Gator-nation. And he always called me (an Auburn grad) as soon as the game was over when they beat us (I did the same!). Football season and my life will not be the same without our beloved "Bubba" around.

Blanche and family:
My heart goes out to you and the entire family, just remember the smiles, love and joy Frankie always brought to others. He was truly a "one in a million" kind of guy. We all have such good memories of him and as the years go by without him, we will always think of him with a smile on our face and love in our hearts.
I could not have done the reunion without him, he was such an inspiration in everything he did and touched. My granddaughter's still talk about what a nice man "Frankie" was....he made them laugh and welcomed them as a part of our class that weekend.
I still cannot believe he called me for the third time that day at 3:08 pm, just a few hours before his accident. We were working out details to suprise his father for a Bahamas cruise in January. He was so happy and so excited about the possibility of taking his father on this trip and what a suprise it would be for him.
Frankie was a good man, always thinking of the other person, a man that will always be remembered with a smile.....we will miss you!

I was very saddened to hear of Frankie's passing and regret that I did not keep in touch over the years and know him as a man. I enjoyed him as Ribault's Webmaster, viewed the pictures on the site and read the humorous stories he wrote about classmates and just chuckled out loud. I am so very sorry for your loss. May his wonderful memory sustain you all.

To Blanche and all of Frank's beloved family: I want to express my sincere condolences to you with the loss of your very special Frank.
Frank and I became friends working together almost daily for over a year via email and phone as well as a few visits to my home to work on the 40th class reunion. As a concerned friend, I always gave advice even if he did not like it on ways to help take care of himself. Therefore, Frank always referred to me as Mom Charlene. I will forever miss Frank and his friendship. May you continue to have the strength and courage to live your daily lives with the wonderful memories of your beloved Frank.
Sincerely,
Charlene Barrow Catlett(Mom Charlene)

Blanche and Family: We send to you and your family understanding thoughts and prayers at Franks passing away into Heaven. You know better than anyone how close Frank was to Jerry and I living across the street from each other and being in the same Military unit. I still remember the song on Franks radio as he took Jerry and I to the airport for basic training. The song was by Peter, Paul and Mary (I'm leaving on a Jet Plane, dont't know when I'll be back again) with hilarious laughter. The war stories you have heard from the old beat up car that would not run (thanks for Doyle and his patience) to the Ribault Jetties activities. True friendship has always lasted between us now and forever into the future. Blanche: Your phone call to Carolyn and I will be cherished and valued forever. Gods strength be with you and all the family at this difficult time. Love, Larry and Carolyn Nelson

Dear Blanche, and Family
My heart aches for you and yours. May all the precious memories help to make up for the many lonely days that you will experience. Please know that God will help you through this.
I loved getting emails from him. In fact just recieved a couple which I opened on the 24th. He and I agreed we did not agree politically, but that was fine.
I wish his Grandmother Ola could have lived to spend more time with him. He was the only Grandson she had and she truly loved Bobbie. All of the Jacobs sisters(his Aunts) are dead. the last one has been gone appoximately one year. Right now I'll bet Aunt Cleo & Aunt Juanita are saying to Frankie, " Ain't we living" while my Mother, Mary is telling them to behave. This gives you a hint as to where he got some of his laughter at life.
He had a special life, and was truly loved. This will help with God's Caring Love. I miss him already.I pray for Gods Grace on everyone. Love, Mavis

Blanche, Family, Friends and Classmates:
Today, as you all gather to memorialize Frankie, may God comfort us all as we go through the motions of everyday life after this tragedy.
Frankie and I had a funny e-mail exchange on Monday that I've shared with a few classmates - he was one funny guy and will be sorely missed.
It is said that "time heals all wounds," and in time, the sorry will be replaced with wonderful memories we shared with Frankie. My earliest memory is going with him to the 6th Grade School Patrol Boy Dance. I had mentioned to Frankie once that my dress was yellow (favorite color then). So, at our 40th, I asked him what color it was - he said "yellow!" Of course, he didn't remember it from long ago, but it sounded good! HA!
I remember his kindness to my Son, William (my Marine) - he gave me a mouse pad and a red/white/blue frame @ our 40th Reunion. My Son just called from Kuwait as I was writing this and he asked what was wrong, as he could tell I was upset. He wanted me to express his condolences to the Family. Frankie was going to e-mail him, but William said he hasn't been able to access some of his mail, so we're not sure if he did or not! Anyway, he was quite the Patriot and I thank him for that!
Frankie - we'll miss you man! Till we meet again!

Blanche and family,
We are all so sorrowed about the loss of our cousin, he was a wonderful person and so full of life. I'll never forget the joker hat that he wore at Uncle Doyles birthday party and the shirt that said "if I knew I was going to live this long I would've taken better care of myself." He was always such a fun guy. Frank, you will be soooo greatly missed by all of us. Bet you have a front seat for the game tonight against
Auburn.....GO GATORS!!!!!!
We love you and miss you.

Blanche, Donna, Debbie, Doyle, Alan, Sarita and family. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Isn't it just like Frankie to lead the way? He always found happiness and joy in the Lord. Through all of his sickness, poor health, and near death experiences, he was singing God's praises. Thus, Frankie created the prayer list on our class web-site. He was always thinking of others. Blanche, you were Frankie's angel. He loved you and his family dearly. He's in heaven now leading the way for all of you! May all of you feel God's loving arms wrapped around you and feel the comfort of his love.

Uncle Frank I will always remember you. Whenever he would come to visit it was always so much fun, he always had the best stories and most interesting stories to share. He took me to my first Gator game for my birthday. He was such an awesome person and obviously very loved and cared about. Everytime I watch a football game, i'll think of you. I love you Uncle Frank.

To each and everyone that has taken the time and effort to pay tribute to my beloved Frank, I want to say how overwhelmed with the love and concern that has been expressed for him and for us. I always knew that he was a special person and I will miss him with all my being. We are, and will be, remembering all the wonderful years we have shared and anyone witnessing the merriment that comes in the recounting may fail to find the humor appropriate. Please think about the joy he brought to our lives. We are struggling to go on without him.
We came so close to losing him at previous times that we thought we had recovered him for many years to come.
Thank you for your prayers and all the wonderful things you are sharing with us. I know Frank would want me to say "Go Gators!"

Uncle Frank was more than an uncle, he was a best friend, a best friend that I was glad to have. I remember two years back he was standing in the bathroom at papa's house and as combed his hair back he said "Man i'm lookin' better everyday" shortly after that he would say "I cant wait til tomorrow to see how good i look" he always seemed to make you smile no matter what. i dont think there was a bigger gater fan then him. i love him very much and will always remember him that day in the bathroom and all the other good times. I love you ucnle frank, and always will remember you.

Blanche, Frank Jr. and family; Frankie became my brother while working with him on the Ribault Reunion Committee. His personality filled a room when he entered. It's hard to imagine that I can't pick up the phone and call him. He had such a postive empact on so many people and our tears and sadness is felt across the country. Thank you Frankie for being my friend. The emptiness in my heart will be filled with many wonderful memories.

Blanche & family, I am very sad to hear of Frankie's death. When he spoke of his children he never mentioned stepchildren, they were all loved and the same in his eyes. Blanche he told me you saved his life more than one time and he loved you very much and was thankful that you were his rock. He was lucky to have the loving family you created.
I will miss him very much and will pray for all of you as I know that this is a most difficult time...time heals most things, so, I hope that the time will come soon when your pain lessons and you remember all of your good times and smile. Be comforted by the fact that you will be reunited with him again in heaven.
I AM NOT THERE:
Do not stand by my grave and weep
For I am not there.
I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am diamonds that glint on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle Autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning hush
I am the swift uplifting rush of butterflies in joyous flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry.
I am not there.
I did not die.
Frankie...........I will always miss you.

Blanche, the rest of Frankie's family, and his many, many friends,
My heart goes out to all of you.
When I received the news tears came to my eyes. I thought about seeing Frankie (and he'll always be Frankie to me) at our 40th reunion - sharing memories, jokes, and laughter - and a smile replaced the tears. Frankie could always make me smile.
We'll all miss him. But we'll never forget him.

Before John would visit Amber, Ashley and TJ in California, all I would hear in the household is; "P-Paw is coming, P-Paw is coming". His arrival was always a "grand" event. He would arrive and give everyone a huge hug and then play with his grandchildren. I have many memories, but I just wanted to take a moment to thank him for always making me feel like one of his daughters. Thank you John for making me feel special and sharing your laughter and quick wit me. I will always keep you in my heart and spirit.
