Shirley Kear Obituary

KEAR Shirley Shirley Kear, 76, of Toledo, passed away Tuesday, December 16, 2008, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg. She was born June 25, 1932, in Toledo, OH and was the daughter of Loy and Orene Jenkins. Shirley was a homemaker much of her life and also worked at Otto's Variety Store, for 12 years, where she retired. Survivors include her husband of 22 years, Bruce R. Kear; children, Kathy Collins, Calvin J. Wagner Jr. and Sally Smith; step children, Larry Kear, Debra (David) Tippitt and Becky Klein; 11 grandchildren; 5 great-grand-children and expecting 2 more. Also surviving are her brothers, Donald (Nancy) Jenkins, Chuck (Karen) Jenkins, Jim Jenkins and Dennis (Linda) Jenkins; special family member, Lorna Doremus and many nieces and nephews. Shirley was preceded in death by her first husband, Calvin J. Wagner Sr.; son-in-law, Warren Collins; daughter, Julia Ann Wagner; brother, Robert Jenkins; sisters, Kathleen Kear and Donna Godfrey and her parents. Friends are invited to visit from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, in the Ansberg-West Funeral Home, 3000 Sylvania Avenue, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday. Interment will be in Toledo Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor's favorite charity. Online condolences may be made at www.ansberg-west.com
