Judy and I visited with Cousin Carolyn a few weeks before she passed away. I only saw Carolyn a few times since we were children. When we visited, she treated Judy like she was one of her best girlfriends (put makeup on her, chitchatting). She treated me like I remembered her and Brenda treating me when they babysat me when I was six. She kept us entertained. We visited to cheer her up and to give her encouragement. She ended up cheering us up, giving us encouragement, and showing us how to enjoy a day. I end up smiling every time I think of her. She left us with memories we will cherish forever.

From the time before I can remember you were in my life and in all the times most important in my life you stood proudly beside me and now as you have gone into the time that I do not know, I feel you in spirit watching over me encouraging and protecting me just as you did all the days of my life. Aunt Carolyn there will be no other like you; know my steps will be close to yours when I leave this earth one day.
To all whose lives she touched I know your sorrow and for all my relations who have gone before I rejoice that you are together right now. Love never ends and never fades nor will your memory. I love you. Squeegie

I remember the times that my Great Aunt Carolyn and I had together, those are a part of my best memories in my life, she was so funny, I really wish she was still here to make me smile. The first time I ever saw her I thought she was one of the most beautiful women I had ever seen, and she was just as beautiful the last time I was with her. I will always and forever miss you Aunt Carolyn, I love you forever and ever.

Dear family, my heart is broken also. Faith, love and time will heal the wounds. Know that my sister's love lives in my heart and, as she wished, the ties that bind will keep us close forever.

Our history with Carolyn goes back over 20 years. Unfortunately, like many relationships, we have not been in close contact for several years. However, she has remained in our hearts.
We were deeply saddened by her passing. Our thoughts are with Steve and the children.
