My heart felt sympothy goes out to the Rogers family as well as the harper family. For Rose my heart goes out to you, its like loosing your own child all over again the part of veronica that kept her hear on this earth ,although David and I was not as close as we could or should have been I loved him and will miss his beutiful smile. In the short times we shared together were very pleasant and love filled and because I did'nt get the opportunity to spend time with my only sister, being around David helped close a little of that void.To my brothers I saw and understand your sorrow as well but remember he's with our Lord and Savior and veronica and David are walking on the clouds of heaven together.

DJ (DAVID JAMAL HARPER):
You were Malik's first friend, you two started at Peace Baptist Day Care together, running up and down Maryland Avenue to the ice cream truck daily. You will truly be missed by the Abbott and Carter family. God will keep your grandparents, JoJo, Sheila, and especially Oscar in his loving arms. You were loved by many. I can hear you now smiling saying, "Whats up MeeMee". I Love you DJ. You are now home with Ronnie, and my grandparents. Peace and Blessings

Sorry about your loss, I didn't have many opportunities to be around David. But the couple of times I did he was a well mannered young man. I am D'Nia's god mother and I know she adored her father and this is a great loss for her. I have asked the Lord to bless his family and my baby girl and give them peace and wipe all the tears away. God had a better plan for David. He was a good father to D'Nia and his other sibblings.

Earth has no sorrow that Heaven cannot heal. I give my heartfelt condolence and a prayer of comfort to you and your family.
Deacon and Mrs. Harper, remember Psalms 121, as it reminds us to look to the hills to get our strength and help. God always gives you what you need when you need it. He has and always will be on time; but I do PERSONALLY understand that the pain is still there. Know that the heavens are rejoicing over another life given to the Father, IN LOVE.
I know you will miss David dearly. The two of you together immeasurably loved him so. My family will miss him as well. David would always come over our house to watch the boxing matches or to just hang out with my brother, Monte and we would laugh, joke, relive memories and “catch up”. My mom (Virginia) would love to see him walk through that door to know that he was doing alright.
I hope it encourages you to know that others are praying for your strength.
May Heaven smile upon you in your time of sorrow and again, I am very sorry to hear of your loss.
May Gold hold you in the palm of his hands in this “trying” time.
