You know that you have been in my thoughts and prayers and I only wish I were there in person to comfort and encourage you.. One of my favorite Psalms in Psalm 3.. there is a verse that says The Lord is a "lifter of my head". I pray that He will "lift your head" so that you can go forward. Love, Alma

I did not know Mr. Jones personally, but he had to be a good person to raise such a beautiful daughter, Laverne. My heart goes out to the entire family during this time. Please know that God is able to handle all of your cares. Remember the Footprints message -- sometimes there is only one set of footprints. Mr. Jones was of me growing up with Laverne in Seat Pleasant. Always willing to give us a ride in his van full of carpet.

My heart goes out to you at this time. I am truly sorry for your loss. As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life’s routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends. Reading Psalms 121 is a very comforting scriptural passage. There you will find assurance of God’s support as well. Please accept my deepest sympathies.
