On Thursday, August 2, 2007, JOHN HESTER SCALES, III. Visitation on Friday, August 10, 2007 at Gethsemane United Methodist Church, 910 Addison Rd South, Capitol Heights, MD at 10 a.m., service at 11 a.m. G. Sylvester Gaines, Pastor. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.

I sign this book in my son's memory no one will every know the heartace a mother feel when they loose a child, the first is thing you feel is madness toward the person you have loss the angry toward God, then you find a quiet inner peace that knowing the kind, gentle person Johnnie was you cannot carry any kind of malce for anyone. If anyone that knew my son and myself knew our relationship and they knew our relationsip with
god. We cried together and we prayed together. To all my son family and friends my Husband and Maurice would like to thank you for the support you have given and continue to give us.

When we first met, I knew that you were the man God designated as my soul mate. Your love for God and family touched my heart in a way that no one else ever had. Your warm smile and charismatic manner always made me feel loved and special. You completed me. I did not get a chance to know John. However, I work with Jataune and just by the way she smiled when he called or when someone would mention his name, you knew that he was great. God has you covered, and continue to stay under his loving arms. I will keep you all in prayer.
