I have tried to piece together the reason you were taken away from me. I know that I can't question God's work for He has taken you to His Kingdom in Heaven. I can only hold on to your memories now. If I would have known I was going to lose you, I would've held, hugged, loved, kissed, and laughed with you longer that morning. Noone knew the love that we shared or the plans we had to wed in ten months. I will forever hold our dreams in my heart. You taught me to be more giving of myself in order to receive all of God's blessings. Even the heartaches in the days that proceeded your death didn't stop you from giving to the homeless the hour before you departed. You told me you were going to be a preacher some day. You taught many through the various scriptures you would quote. You were an exceptional father to your children and Ayanna. Thank you for loving me unconditionally and leaving me with great memories. I love and miss you dearly....more than you will ever know...forever yours.

To the loving family of Robert E. Parran jr. B.K.A (Obby)
My heart goes out to you all in your time of sorrow.
I knew you all; all my life and I always experienced a family atmosphere no matter how long we haven’t seen each other it was always love. There’s nothing I can say to ease the pain, I love and will keep you in my prayers.
IN MEMORY OF “ROBERT E. PARRAN JR. B.K.A. (OBBY)”
The darkness has fallen
The light in your eyes, gone
The laughter in your voice
Used to sing like a song
But no more will we hear you
Nor shall we see your lovely face
To so many, you meant so much
You will never be replaced
Although our pain is deep
we can find reason to smile
because to have had you in our life
Makes the hurting all worthwhile.
