Brenton Stovall Obituary

STOVALL Brenton Hiroshi Stovall, born June 7, 1988, in New York, N.Y., passed away Thursday, May 3, 2007, at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, from injuries sustained in a car accident. Relocating to the Piedmont Triad area in 1993 with his family, Brenton grew up playing soccer in the Winston-Salem Optimist League, running track in middle school, and playing cello in the Wiley Middle and Mount Tabor High School orchestras. He was a member of the family' s music ensemble, playing on occasion with the Winston-Salem Community Orchestra. A 2006 graduate of Mount Tabor High School, Brenton was one final examination away from completing his freshman year at N.C. A&T State University. He loved producing music beats on his computer and was an avid car enthusiast. He, his cousins and friends would often spend their weekends learning the craft of music production. Brenton was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Shakespeare Stovall; and maternal grandmother Helena Turner. He is survived by his loving parents, Robert and Jo Ayn Stovall; younger brothers Leland and Avery Stovall; paternal grandfather George Turner; paternal uncle George Turner; maternal grandmother Mioko Stovall; maternal aunts Vicki, Joan and Janet Stovall; maternal uncles Ernest, James and Alex Stovall; and his beloved cousin and best friend, Justin K. Mirabal. Brenton was the sixth of 27 grandchildren paternally and was loved, admired and cherished by each. The memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 9, at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home, with family visitation beginning at 5 p.m. The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, contributions be made in memory of Brenton Hiroshi Stovall to NC A&T State University, A&T General Scholarship Fund, NC A&T University Foundation, 1601 E. Market St., Greensboro NC 27411.

Hi its me david from lowes, well im just here to show my sympathy for my good friend Brent. We all knew him to be a good person who cared about everyones feelings. There is so much to remember about him and all the good things he would do for people. It seems just like yesterday that we were just at the movies with friends and eating chili cheese fries at cookout. But my sympathy is with you and your family and including Justin, my other bud. But Ill be attending this Wednesday at five. I love all of you and it was a blessing to have Brent be like a big brother to me!
