I was completely shocked by the news and my heart goes out to your family. I lived down the street from the Joye family for a few years and remember riding bikes and playing in the woods behind our houses. Tripp was a sweet guy and he will truly be missed by family and friends. God is with him.

"Death is nothing else but going home to God, the bond of love will be unbroken for all eternity." - Mother Teresa. I love you and will miss you. You were one of my best friends, a brother who was always there for me, made time to visit when i could not. You will never be forgotten and we will meet again in time.

I had the wonderful opportunity to meet Tripp through my husband, Julian. He was actually in our wedding in September. The first time I met him we went to see one of his shows...what a talented guy. I know he had a heart of gold and his smile could certainly light up a room. I keep picturing that smile in my head....Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Tripp was one of the very few people in my life that I could trust! He was the longest going friend that I had, I thought for sure that we’d grow old together. I don’t understand why this had to happen but I already miss him so much!!! He had such an amazing soul and it showed every time he smiled! There’s really nothing I can say to explain how I feel, I just want my friend back!!

Dear Joye Family,
We did not know Tripp nor do we know the circumstances of his death. However, we lost our own 20 year old son less than 10 months ago. Please know we are keeping you close in our thoughts & prayers & will continue to do so in the weeks & months ahead. Losing a child is, well, just not right. Your family & friends & the love of God will be a great source of strength. Take care of yourselves.

Warm regards,
Debbie & Jimmy Hill

Thoughts and prayers are with the family.
In your time of sorrow
Know that God is there
He will hold you in His arms
And wipe away your tears
He understands your pain
He feels the grief you feel
Just give to Him your broken heart
For He in time will heal
Praying that God will grant the family peace and strength to get you all thru your time of sorrow.
In Jesus Name.

Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some people move our souls to dance. They awaken us to new understanding with the passing whisper of their wisdom. Some people make the sky more beautiful to gaze upon. They stay in our lives for awhile, leave little footprints in our hearts, and we are never, ever the same. You are greatly missed. We love you brother.

I truly enjoyed the limited times that I was able to spend with Tripp - whether we were playing in ensembles at church (as recently as this past Christmas), or going back a few years, visiting him at the music store. He was a very nice "kid" that I enjoyed being around.

Our family's prayers are with Tripp's parents and sister. We love you and feel for you.
