Marva R. Terry

Marva Rogers Terry, 80, of Speedwell died Friday, Aug. 8, 2008. A memorial service was held Monday, Aug. 11, at 3 p.m. at the Grubb Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Doug Stuart and the Rev. Derek Cowan officiating. She and her husband of 61 years, James Terry, reared two sons and a daughter in Durham, N.C., before retiring to Speedwell in 1994. During their retirement, they made many friends and enjoyed the Speedwell community. Memorial donations may be made to the Speedwell Volunteer Fire Department or to Carrington Place of Wytheville. Grubb Funeral Home in Wytheville was in charge of the arrangements.
