Mary Helen Lambert Clark

Mary Helen Lambert Clark, 85, of Wytheville died Sunday, Aug. 17, 2008, at Wythe County Community Hospital in Wytheville. Funeral service will be held Friday, Aug. 22, at 3 p.m. at Millennium World Outreach with the Rev. Kent Lewis officiating. Interment will be in the Clear Fork Baptist Church Cemetery at Rocky Gap. She was born March 4, 1923, in Burkes Garden, daughter of the late William E. and Rosie Thompson Lambert. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas C. Clark; and two sons, Larry T. Clark and Steve Michael Clark. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Willow Dean and Douglas F. Gilbert of Wytheville, Tonia D. and Randy Turner of Max Meadows; two sons, Preston E. Clark and Wendell D. Clark, both of Princeton, W.Va.; three sisters, Lucille Blankenship of Greenbackville, Margaret Richardson and Stella Mitchell, both of Wytheville; special granddaughter, Deania Monday; special niece, Pati Manuel; 14 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Thursday, Aug. 21, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Barnett Funeral Home. Barnett Funeral Home in Wytheville is in charge of the arrangements.
