Gladys I. Snow

Gladys Isabell Snow, 76, of Wytheville, formerly of Martinsville, died Sunday, Aug. 24, 2008, at her residence. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, Aug. 27, at 11 a.m. at the Barnett Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Bell officiating. Interment will be in the Speedwell United Methodist Church Cemetery. She was born March 27, 1932, in Speedwell, daughter of the late Robert Lee and Virginia Martin Stuart. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth W. Snow of the home; two daughters and son-in-law, Diane and Buster Rakes, and Kathy Cole, all of Wytheville; two sons and daughters-in-law, Herman and Rose Arnold, Casey and Donna Arnold, all of Wytheville; 10 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Barnett Funeral Home in Wytheville is in charge of the arrangements.
