Curtis Dewayne Hill, 34, Saturday, Oct. 11, 2008. He was born in Smyth County on Feb. 9, 1974, to William David Hill and Connie Combs McGhee. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Glenn W. Combs, an uncle, Cecil Blevins and an aunt, Margaret Combs. He had been employed at Marshall Greer's Trout Farm for several years. Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Connie and Garland McGhee, of Chilhowie; father and stepmother, William David and Nina Hill of Sugar Grove;  his children, Curtis Dewayne Hill Jr., Blake Dexter and William Glenn Hill; his sister, Melissa Lynn Reeves and husband, Christopher, of Washington County; two half-brothers, Garland McGhee and wife, Ann, of Chilhowie, Gregory David Hill and wife, Sherry, of Montvale; his nieces and nephews, Dustin Bentley, Abigail Shores, McKenzie Bentley and Bradley McGhee; special friends, Sherry Polk, Sarah Combs, Danny Combs, Nancy and William Testerman; and a host of other loving friends and family. Funeral services were conducted Oct. 14 from the Bradley's Funeral Chapel in Chilhowie with the Rev. Joe Powers officiating. The family received friends from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral chapel.
