Lucille Doss Thomas

She is survived by one daughter, Linda C. Wright and her husband, Ernest, of Damascus; one son, Roy C. Thomas Jr. and his wife, Betty, of Chilhowie; three sisters, Ruby Gentry of Laurel Bloomery, Tenn., Bertie Mae Gentry of Bristol, Va., and Beulah Jean Murphy of Damascus; two brothers, Kenneth Doss and Denver Doss, both of Glade Spring; four grandchildren, Tony Walls, Deena Barron, Kim Thomas and Janet Pennington; five great-grandchildren, Stacy Barron, Courtney Aynes, Mia Walls, Wendy Walls and Casey Walls; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral service was conducted Oct. 5 at the graveside at Sunset Memorial Park with the Revs. Tommy Tester and Tim Stevenson officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Damascus Volunteer Rescue Squad, P. O. Box 458, Damascus, VA 24236. There will be no viewing or visitation at the funeral home.
