Leatha A. Miller

Leatha Ann Miller, 84, of Wytheville died Thursday, Oct. 16, 2008. Funeral service was held Sunday, Oct. 19, at 3 p.m. at the Barnett Funeral Chapel. Interment was in Oakwood Cemetery with American Legion Post 9 conducting graveside military rites. She was born July 8, 1924, in Richmond, daughter of the late John Mills and Annie Lee. She was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in World War II. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eberett Lee Miller. Survivors include a son, Eric Mario Miller of Wytheville; special caregiver, Sidney Black Jr. of Wytheville; sister-in-law, Frances Lee of Sugar Grove; and several nieces and nephews. Barnett Funeral Home in Wytheville was in charge of the arrangements.
