Mike Arnold was a wonderful example of "good people", a label reserved for those special people who leave a memory of warmth and friendship with all whom they meet. In the more than 10 years that we've known him, his unquestionable integrity and professionalism provided a trustworthy haven in an unpredictable world.
Our deepest sympathy to his family for their loss which we all share in our own way.

It may be a little late but I my heart is with the family of Mike. My name is Lewis Arnold and we were classmates for twelve years at Sheffey Elementary and Fort Chiswell High. We were distantly related but very good friends especially in elementary school.
May God bless you in your loss.
You are in my prayers

I want to thank everyone for their kind and generous thoughts. As you know this is a very difficult time for myself and my son as well as my and Mike's families and yes all his friends. We are coping as best we can but it will be a long and hard road. Now he is free to ride the wind to his hearts content. Thanks all. Marguerite Arnold

I wish to express my Deep Sympathy for the loss of Mike. I will always remember Mike from the first time I met him when he came to Casey's and we were both young and open to learn all to become the best Mechanics. We both shared the love of working on cars and also we both shared the love of our Harleys. I will miss you Mike and think of you often when I am riding in the wind and being free of all except the ride. To his wife and son I know this is very hard on you both and hope knowing how many people resecpted Mike will bring some joy to your hearts.

to the arnold family,
my deepest condolences go out to you in the unforeseen tragidity. mike was an excellent mentor to many men and women and affected so many lives here at casey chevy. he was the source for numerous questions and concerns from corvettes to life in general. he was an awesome friend and impromptu therapist with an anecdote that made everything come into perspective. he was the one who implanted the disease of loving corvettes to much into my head. he made me strive to be a better person and technician. he will never be forgotten in my work ethic and personal life. his love for corvettes and their owners has become just as important to me. i promise you to use his methodology for these cars forever. he made me what i am and i am truly grateful for the lessons he taught me. you are in our prayers and if we can do anything at all for you, please don't hesitate to ask.

My sympathies to the Arnold family.
I can't say enough about Mikes willingness to help me out, taking car of my 'vette, or, like another poster, to sit and chat at the end of the day.
We'll miss him.

My deepest sympathy goes out to the Arnold family.
Mike worked on my Vettes and was particular with everything he did for me. He always took the time to explain everything in perfect detail and took pride in his work. He was one of the top Corvette mechanics in the country. Mike was a "Special Person"...On occasion I would drop by the shop for a visit ...it was a real treat for me to talk with him for a half hour before he went home for the day. We would just sit and talk about stuff...Sometimes I'd bring buy antique tools to see if he knew what they were(he usually knew what they were) and he liked that. His untimely death is a total shock to me. There is no doubt that I will be sad for a long time because of his passing but knowing that he is in a better place comforts me. I will never forget you Mike...see you again someday my friend...
