Ida Hutton Blevins

Ida Hutton Blevins, 87, died Wednesday, November 19, 2008 in the Smyth County Community Hospital. She was born in Smyth County to the late Jack and Emma Hutton and was preceded in death by her husband, Willard Winston Blevins. She had worked at Harwood and The South Western State Hospital. She was a member of the Falling Water Baptist Church, the Ladies Auxiliary of the Francis Marion V.F.W. Post 4667 and the Home Demonstration club of Smyth County. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Bill Winebarger of Marion; grandchildren, Virginia "Jenny" Johnson and husband, Byron, Dean Winebarger and wife, Cindy; four great-grandchildren; one great- great-grandson; sister- in- law, Reba Hutton; special family friend, Ann Ball; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 22, at the Falling Water Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Creasy officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Lawn Cemetery.
