Brenda Joyce "Patty" Hess

Our precious Patty went home to be with the Lord, on Sun., Nov. 23, 2008. She was born on Sept. 10, 1950 to the late Ted and Lena Wyatt Hess, both Tazewell County natives. Our little Patty touched the hearts of all who knew her, she was our special gift from God; all were touched by her precious love. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Pauline Corns and Alice Palmer; and one brother, Darrell Hess. Survivors are: three sisters, Louise Johnson and husband, Randall, of Bristol, Va., Lois VanDyke and husband, Jim, of Bristol, Va., Kathy Griffith and husband, Paul, of Glade Spring, Va.; one brother, Phillip Hess and wife, Edith, of Cedar Bluff, Va.; one brother-in-law: Bill Corns of Bristol, Va.; special care givers, all the staff and residents of Southwest Virginia Training Center. Graveside services will be conducted Wed., Nov. 26, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the Greenhills Memory Gardens Mausoleum at Claypool Hill, Va., with the Rev. Paul Griffith officiating.
