Ardelia K. Palmer

Ardelia K. Palmer died Sunday, Nov. 30, 2008, at NHC in Bristol, Va. A graveside service will be held Thursday, Dec. 4, at 11 a.m. at the Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church Cemetery in Wytheville with the Rev. Don Mumpower officiating. She was a retired teacher in the Wythe and Pulaski counties school systems. She was preceded in death by her husband, W.R. Kinzer Sr.; husband, H.C. Palmer; her only son, W.R. Kinzer Jr.; her parents; and seven siblings. Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Lovada Kinzer of Bristol, Tenn.; four grandchildren, Ruby Kinzer and wife Laurie of Knoxville, Tenn., Stephen C. Kinzer of Houston, Texas, Jane Godsey and her husband Jeff of Greenville, S.C., and Cheryl King of Bristol, Tenn.; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
