Elizabeth Newberry Obituary

Elizabeth "Betty" Wilson Newberry of Wytheville died Friday, Jan. 23, 2009. A graveside service and interment will be held Thursday, Jan. 29, at 1 p.m. at West End Cemetery with the Rev. Rusty Mullins officiating. She was a member of the Silver Spring Lions Club. She is survived by her husband, Andrew Newberry of the home; three children, Jo Ann Andre, Drew Newberry and Billy Newberry; three sisters-in-law, Catherine Trevillian, Pearl Newberry and Lovetta Newberry, all of Wytheville; four grandchildren, Kevin Andre, Kelli Richards. Tracey Newberry and Billy Newberry; three great-grandchildren, Kailyn Richards, Brady Andre and Jack Andre; a niece and nephew, Betsey Trevillian and Albert Newberry, both of Wytheville. Memorial contributions may be made to Lions of District 22-C Eye Bank, 9470 Annapolis Rd., Suite 415. Seabrook, MD 20706. Grubb Funeral Home in Wytheville is in charge of arrangements.
