Frances Bradley Obituary

Frances Jeannie Meadows Bradley, 53, died Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2009 at her home in Chester. She was born in Smyth County to the late Alexander Francis Meadows and Norma Jean Dennison Meadows. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Jeffery Allen Meadows, and her husband, Don Bradley. She was employed as a grounds keeper at the Hollywood Cemetery in Richmond and attended Rock Church. Survivors include one brother, Robert Brady Meadows and wife, Robin, of Marion; two sisters, Wanda Pickle and husband, Randy, of Marion, Teresa Evans and husband, Adam, of Marion; one grandson, Joseph Alexander Paradis; nine nieces and nephews; five great-nieces and nephews; two uncles and four aunts; special companion, her dog, Buttercup; special friends and caregivers, Dee and Angelique Paradis, Vickie and Joy Snow; and a special cousin, Gilbert Meadows. Funeral services were conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 30, at Bradley's Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Guy Testerman, the Rev. Herman Cress, the Rev. Kenny Price and the Rev. Mike Sage officiating. Interment followed in the Attoway Cemetery. The family received friends Thursday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
