Jeffery Wayne Grady

Jeffery Wayne Grady died Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2009 at his home. He was preceded in death by his daddies, Ted Hutchins and Howard Grady, grandparents, John and Emma Proffitt, and brother-in-law, Ed Puckett. He was a member of Heavenly Hope Baptist Church in Chilhowie. Survivors include his wife, Kay Snead Grady; mother, Penny Hutchins of Saltville; four brothers, Michael Grady, Jimmy Roberts, Eugene Grady, all of Saltville, and Tim Johnson of Des Moines, Iowa; three sisters, Karen Puckett of Saltville, Amy and husband, Jeff Doss, of Chilhowie, and Angela and husband, George Robbins, of Saltville; two stepchildren, Toyna and husband, Kenneth Arnold, of Christiansburg and Hope Delp of the home; several nieces and nephews; special cousin and other special family members, Keith Johnston, Fred and Johnny Barrett, Keith Johnston, Anne Duncan, Norma Marsh Woodward, and Joe and Lisa Morris. All of his family and friends were very dear and special to him. Funeral services were conducted at 8 p.m. Thursday at D.R. Henderson Funeral Home with Pastor Dean Smith officiating. The family received friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday prior to the service. According to his wishes, cremation followed the services. D.R. Henderson Funeral Home in Saltville was in charge of arrangements.
