Jennie, Daisy, Billy, and Larry, you have lost a wonderful mother, but the Lord has recieved a wonderful lady! Aunt Merl will be greatly missed by so many people. I wish there was something to say to ease your pain; however, I know that isn't possible. You all will remain in our thoughts and prayers. Aunt Merl was a wonderful mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, Aunt and friend to many people. I pray you will take some comfort in knowing that she is in Heaven with her parents, brothers, sister and other friends. Im sorry we couldnt be there to help in your time of need! Love your cousin Rachel, Aunt Brenda and family!

My wonderful mother (Merl Barnett) will be dearly missed. Jeff, Dean, Buddy (pet) and I were very blessed to have mom spent the last two months of her life with us. Mom was safe, loved and cared for. She went home to be with the Lord on Valentines night about 10 pm. The doctors said she did not suffer and was in no pain and that she was very lucky not to have suffered any disease and was never bed-fast. Mom was not alone. I was holding her hand when she went to be with the Lord in my home. I said my goodbyes at the hospital and I will see mom again in HEAVEN many, many moons from now.
Your loving daughter!
