Shirley A. Hall

Shirley Ann Hall, 74, of Wytheville, formerly of Ivanhoe, died Wednesday, March 4, 2009. Funeral service will be held Saturday, March 7, at 3 p.m. at Fairview United Methodist Church with the Rev. Ken Blevins officiating. Interment will be in the Fairview United Methodist Church Cemetery. She was born Sept. 3, 1934, in Manitowac, Wis., daughter of the late Edward M. and Anna Shusta Swetlick. She was a member of Fairview United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil L. Hall; and a sister, Dolores Thor. Survivors include three brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, James and Beverly Hall of Ivanhoe, Clarence and Serina Hall of Berkley Springs, W.Va., Clifford and Helen Hall of Huntington, Md.; two sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Pauline and James Owen of Rural Retreat, Gloria and Jack Felts of Galax; and several nieces and nephews. The body will be taken to the church Saturday, March 7, where the family will receive friends from 1 to 3 p.m. (service time). Reese Funeral Home in Austinville is in charge of the arrangements.
