Shailee F. Perkins

Shailee F. Perkins, infant daughter of Michael and Jessica Perkins, died on June 9, 2009 at the Naval Medical Center in Portsmouth. She was born on Dec. 2, 2008 in Smyth County. She was preceded in death by her maternal great-grandparents, James Hart and Betty Lefler. Survivors include her parents, Michael Perkins and Jessica Roberts Perkins; her sisters, Aubry and Erica, her twin; grandparents, Melissa Roberts, Greg Roberts, Ellen Perkins, James Woods, and John Perkins; great-grandparents, Carolyn Rhoten and Novella Perkins; a great-great-grandmother, Reba Matheson; her aunts, Larissa Roberts, Alisha Roberts, Nikki Perkins and Jenifer Cale; her uncles, Brian Roberts and J.J. Perkins and wife, Lora; cousins, Madison Cale, Christian Buchanan, Makindra Buchanan and Brooke Roberts; and several other aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 14, at Bradley's Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Herman Cress and the Rev. Stuart Orr officiating. Interment will follow in Roundhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.bradleysfh.com.
