To the family of my dear fiend connie Flint, may God bless and keep you all as you go tru this terrible time. I know it is hard to not see her and not be able to talk to her in peson but remember that " to die is to gain eternal life with our Heavenly Father," and one day you will see her again if you live the life that she did. Connie was a wonderful person, loving all that she met and always instilling the word of God in everyone she met. She was our first Womens Day speaker at New Shield of Faith Christians Ministries and we will never forget her. Be blessed in The Lord and know that Connie truly fought a good fight and that she really kept the faith.

I met Connie Flint at The Greater Piney Grove Baptist Church where she
spoke for Women's day on several ocassions. I also ran into her at
the heart Specialist office where we talked briefly. She was a real down
to earth women. On another occasion we were invited to a 40th birthday
celebration of a mutual friend. Again she was so pleasant and always
smiling. I will miss hearing on the radio station always playing good
Gospel music and encouraging her listeners. Job well done Connie. May
the family continue to be blessed from the life on Connie Flint.

To the Flint, family God has smile on Rev. Flint, no more sorrow, no more pain just sweet, sweet rest until we all get together. I know what you are feeling, I lost my Mother, and father in the same year, we had a double funeral a few year later I lost my niece, than I lost my brother, uncle, nephew, and great nephew all in one year. But May 25, 2006 of last year, I lost my (38) thirty eight year old son, "Stanley" and I throught my world would end, but I am still standing only by God grace and mercy, that I am able to stand, I give God all the glory and praise because he came in and took sveral from the chain, but the link is still attached, because he left me with three children, and nine grand children, one daughter in-law four sisters, one brother many, many nieces, and nephews.
I just wanted to share this with you because when everything fell god is always present. May God bless and keep you all.

we listened to ms. flint on the 'praise party' on 97.5 all the time. the way she interviewed visiting personalities and the way she played the gospel music was very interesting and soul-stirring. oh, yes, she will be sorely missed by her radio community and we know that her family will more than desperately miss her around her home and church. there are very few women who could draw you in on the radio sight-unseen the way ms. flint did; and she had a very distinctive laugh.my husband and i send our deepest sympathies to her family.

I'd missed her voice over the air, never to know that such an inspirational and elegant voice would never lead us through into the "Praise Party" again. I loved to here her laugh and could just imagine the smile that was carrying the laughter. Woman of God how you will be missed over the airways. Let us be at peace with GOD's decision and know that we too will soon be there.

We were blessed to meet Connie Flint over a year ago, when our group went to meet with her @ the station to discuss our upcoming project coming out. Our meeting was so casual because she immediately began talking to us as if she had known us all of our lives. She shared her testimony of God's healing power, and sustaining grace. It was not business as usual, and today we can truly say Connie Flint was a Godly woman. We'd often times run into Ms. Flint at singing engagements, and she never changed, always greeted us with a warm hug and smile. We are thankful to have known her for the short time we did.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
Connie was more than a radio personality. She was real. She smiled and laughed along with people who called into the station. She will be missed but not forgotten.

I know that some day the family of one of the most extraordinary women to be place on this earth will read this. There are so many people who were and who are still being touched by the words and lifestyle of Rev. Connie Flint. I met her when I was just a young girl going around Atlanta singing with Rev. Velmer Watkins and the Angelic Gospel Community Choir. She always said to me to stay beautiful and to keep giving God the praise through song. I appreciate words of comfort like that even now that I am older; when the way seems to be getting hard and ministry is rough. I hadn't seem her in a long time since before I went away to college but whenever I come home I always turned on the radio to hear her. I don't know what it is like to lose a mother or a sibling but what I can offer is my prayers and those are more vaulabe than any flower or card. Always remember that God never makes a mistake. I think that God wanted to expand His radio station, WGOD 100.0 Believe me God has some pretty good DJ's up there now like, Tippy Callaway and Esmond Patterson they always know what to play. Connie had fulfilled her purpose and then some so God decided to bring her on up to glory to help out her peers, only the best is fit to work at WGOD!!!! And Rev. Contance Flint - praying, loving, caring, bold, notouring, kingdom building saint was truely ready for the job!!!! She's now at the ultimate PRAISE PARTY, keep playing those heavenly hits Connie!!!! Love you Always!!!

I knew WHO you were (a Christian) by your love.
Obviously, I wasn't the only one that you were talking to on the radio. However, that is exactly how I felt -- like you were in the car carrying on a conversation with me. And from the 40 pages that precede my entry -- I am not alone. Thank you for being a willing vessel.

If we follow the plan and purpose God has for our lives, and if we stay the course--no matter what the test or trial, He will keep us in perfect peace and He'll send an angel to help us on our way. Connie Flint was an inspirational angel for me as I traveled the interstates from Stockbridge to Newnan on a daily basis in 2005 and 2006.
She encouraged, she rejoiced, she reminded, she prayed and she praised. She offered comfort and inspired courage. I'm blessed to have encountered this powerful woman of God during a season when I really needed her.
My Mom was my conversation partner for the long and dangerous journey from the time the Lord sent me to Henry County in 2001 until He called her home in Sept 2004. I don't remember exactly when Connie started to host the afternoon hours on Praise 97.5FM. I just know that one day she was there and I was blessed just because she was there. I so looked forward to getting into my car and hearing her laugh and listening to Godly wisdom especially after a trying day at work.
I offer my heartfelt condolence to Kim and Family as well as to the Spiritual Family of this blessed and highly favored woman of destiny.
Connie, until we see each other on the other side, Shalom/Maranatha. You served well and you showed many how to walk circumspectly. I never had the opportunity to meet you in person, but I know I'll recognize you when I hear you laugh! Amen

Connie Flint MC'd my Women's Day program some years ago. Her "cup of tea" (Order My Steps) as she liked to call it was song by me. I remember how she allowed the words to minister to her. The next day, she played the song and dedicated the cup of tea to both me and my mother. After the service, we took many pictures together. Me with my mother and Connie Flimt - the two most remarkable women I have ever known - both now living with the Lord. Ladies, I will be goining you one day where we will sing in many concerts hosted by Connie, song by my mother and hopefully, I will direct. Sleep on Connie, take your rest, we all love you but God loves you best.

To the Flint Family.
We listened to Connie on Praise 97.5 radio. She was always happy and an inspiration to her radio family who heard her daily. She always said "Be careful what you say because you're planting seeds". Connie planted many wonderful seeds and will be greatly missed. We send condolences to her family and rejoice in knowing that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. We believe she is rejoicing and praising God for all of her many accomplishments and soul winning. May God bless and keep you.

Connie was my classmate, my friend and an inspiration as I listened to her on the radio. Atlanta and the gospel community has truly lost a good spirited woman of God. I feel blessed to have shared a chapter in her life and I know that the angels are rejoicing now that she is singing in heaven. May God Bless her family.
