Family-Placed Death Notice

HEATHER ANNE TULLY Heather Anne Tully, 19, of Woodstock, died Friday, October 30, 2004. Heather was a sophomore at West Georgia State University in Carrollton where she was a member of Delta Delta Delta Sorority and was a member of Hillside United Methodist Church. Heather was an organ donor because of her love and concern for other people. She is survived by her parents, Rick and Wilma Tully of Woodstock. Several aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday morning in the New Victoria Baptist Church with the Rev. Monty Guice officiating. Entombment Cherokee Memorial Park. Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made to the Arthritis Foundation, Georgia Chapter, 550 Pharr Rd. Suite 550, Atlanta, GA 30305, and please note For Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis in memory of Heather Anne Tully on the memo line of your check. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 this evening at the Woodstock Funeral Home 8855 Main St. Woodstock (770)926-3107

I was just thinking about Heather looking at pictures of us. I miss her so much everyday. I met Heather a couple of years ago and my daughters took to her immediately. I was never close to your daughter, but she was in my homeroom all throughout high school, as well as in several of my classes. The news of Heather's death hit me very hard because I can only think of her as being so full of life. Though we weren't close, she would smile and say hi to me in the hallway, and I always that she was a wonderful, smart person. I thought very highly of her, as did her other classmates. Life is such a precious thing, and through Heather's achievements and love of life and people, I think she lived her life to the fullest. I have never encountered such an impactful and inspiring person as Heather was. From third grade talent shows to eigth grade chherleading to senior years' Windfall pagent, Heather has made an everlasting impression on me and everyone she touched. Dear Rick and Wilma:

My family was so honored to be a small part of Heathers life. Being the mother of two boys, I have longed for a daughter, and Heather was a dream come true. She embraced us into her life with the daily zest, love, smiles, and charm that she emitted from every fiber of her being. You are to be commended on the raising of "the perfect girl"....in EVERY sense of the word. My heart aches for you, and I don't know what we can do to help. Just be comforted in the multitude of people she "taught" to be better people. I so wished we could have spent our future as her in-laws! Kyle is wracked with grief, but the love he knew in his heart for Heather has made him a better person, and her influence will last him a lifetime. Again, thank you for your gift to us all, and I hope and pray that you find the strength to bear this burden put upon you. Our goals as parents are that our children will be happy and successful....Heather was both of those and so much more.

Our lives will be forever touched....all our love sweet girl.

I didn't know Heather that well, but I did know that she was a very sweet girl who deserved to live alot longer. But you know what they always say. God always takes the angels first. I actually worked with her in the windfall pagent st school. She was very well-mannered and she always cared about other people's well being. She will be missed very much.
