Dorothy Murrell Obituary

Retired LPN EDGEFIELD, S.C. - Ms. Dorothy Jean Jackson Murrell, 76, of Edgefield, died Sunday 10-4-2009 at the Saluda Nursing Center. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday 10-7-2009 at Johnston Pentecostal Holiness Church at 10 A.M. A Graveside service will be held Wednesday at 3 P.M. in Indian Fields Methodist Church Cemetery in St. George, S.C. Mrs. Murrell was born in Dorchester County, S.C. and was a Retired LPN at the Saluda Nursing Center. She was a member of the Johnston Pentecostal Holiness Church. Survivors include 3 sons, Michael C. Murrell, Hephzibah, Ga., David A. Murrell, North Augusta, Chris P. Murrell, Charleston, S.C.; 1 daughter, Rhonda Sweeney, Honduras, Central America; 2 sisters, Millie Singletary, Janie Belle Mellard, both of St. George; 1 brother, Johnny P. Jackson, Jr., St. George; 5 grandchildren and 3 great- grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Saluda Nursing Center, P.O. Box 398 Saluda, S.C. 29138. To all of the family,
I jusy want you to know, I loved Gree so very much. I wish I could have been there. The time I did get to spend with her I will treasure forever. Heaven has a special angel.
