Dear Lance,
What a wonderful dad you had, and a wonderful son you were. When you are up to it, I would like you to e-mail me your address so that I may send you some note cards to remember
us by, and to help spread awareness of the disease Amyloidosis. I wish we could have met under "normal circumstances".

I came to know Robert through taking care of him at the VA hospital. He would come to see me 2 or 3 times per week. We had many talks and he became quite special to me. My life has been blessed knowing him. He loved his family very much and shared many stories about them.
To his family, I would like to extend my deepest sympathy.
