Dix, C. Walker
91, passed away on March 3, 2011. He was born on August 6, 1919 in Bourbon, MO. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Zoe, sons John (Sherry), Tom (Julie), Kenny (Katie), 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He is a WWII Navy veteran serving as a LTJG on the USS Collett . He was an EE graduate from Oklahoma University and was instrumental in the development of the Atlas missile guidance system in the 1950's. He resided in Scottsdale Arizona with his family since 1968. He retired from Honeywell in 1978 as senior vice president of Honeywell's Computer Engineering Division. He completed his career spending 4 years with Intel in the early 1980's. Memorial Services, Wed., March 9 at 12:00pm at Green Acres Mortuary, 401 North Hayden Road, Scottsdale, AZ 85257. In lieu of flowers please donate to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower, Phoenix 85014. www.greenacresmortuary.net
