Debra Gorsuch Obituary

Gorsuch, Debra
Debra (Strayer) Gorsuch, 56 entered peacefully into eternal life on March 4th, 2011 with her family at her side. Debbie was born on September 28, 1954 at Great Lakes Naval Base. Debbie lived most of her life in Wisconsin, moving to Sun City Arizona in 2003. Debbie was a property manager for Parawest Property management at the time of her death. Debbie loved the Arizona weather, especially when she was enjoying it in the company of family and friends. However, the real joys in life were her two sons, Shamus and Nathan. There was never a day that passed where she did not mention one, the other or both. She was proud that Shamus has served our country for the past 16 years by serving in the United States Army as a helicopter pilot. She was even more ecstatic that her son Nathan recently relocated to Nashville to enter the adventure of starting a family business. Debbie will be missed by her sons Shamus and Nathan, mother Alice Strayer, sisters Sherrie (Bob) Lincks, Sandy Armstrong, Susan (Russ) Anderson, Ginger (Bob) Gorsuch and brother Donald (Patt) Strayer. Debbie is also leaving behind her partner in life for the past 18 years, Eugene Williams, his children Tianna and Ileia, both of whom Debbie considered her daughters. Additional family members include her aunts Marion Knigge and Evelyn (Bob) Littfin as well as many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and countless lifelong friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Strayer Sr., step-father, Charles Spreen, and nephews Steve Miller and Joe Gorsuch. A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, March 9, 2011 @ 2PM at Sunland Memorial Park and Mortuary, 15826 Del Webb Blvd, Sun City, AZ. Condolences may be made at www.sunlandmemorial.com

I was very sad when I seen the obituary in the Daily Citizen. Your picture brought back many memories of you and the boys when we all lived on Fischer Av. Living next door to you guys was some of the most fun times I had in my life. Shamus give me a call or look me up on Facebook I would very much enjoy talking with you.
