Danny Williams Obituary

Williams, Danny R.
66, of Gilbert AZ passed away on March 4, 2011. Born in Indianapolis on 7/5/44, Danny nearly became a professional dancer prior to joining the US Navy. A veteran of 22 years, he then made a career and retired from the US Postal Service. He took Great pride in his involvement and 15 year presidency of the Mesa Citizen Police Academy Alumni Assn, MCPAAA. He was a member of the FOP, A Mason, and a past board member of the National Citizen Police Academy Assn. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Darlene, sister and brother in law Carole and Mike Stainbrook, son Dann "E", daughter Lynn Dee, step children Tony and Jeff, 3 step grandchildren, and four legged children "Indy" and "Roxy". He is now walking again with his four legged son "Barkley". It was his desire to have a small family gathering rather than a" dog and pony show" In lieu of flowers he requested a donation be made to the AZ Humane Society.

Danny was an inspiring leader of MCPAAA, a friend and a good dog training client. I loved working with him, Darlene and Roxy. I'll miss him a great deal.
