Rita Clark Obituary

Clark, Rita A
Rita Ann Clark, a proud native of Phoenix, Arizona, joined our Heavenly Father on March 6, 2011 at the age of 65. Rita was born June 24, 1945, the third of Bill and Rose Eden's six children. She graduated from Phoenix Union High School in 1964 and later met and married her husband, Joseph Clark Jr, in 1966. Together they raised their children in the West Valley, where Rita built a loving and beautiful home for her family. She attended and was actively involved in the church she loved for over 35 years, St. Vincent de Paul. Rita will most lovingly be remembered for being a beautiful spirit, a loving mom, a proud sister, and an amazing friend to those of us blessed to have her in our lives. Unique in so many ways, she was the embodiment of love, patience, and understanding. Rita will be loved and remembered by her sisters Elaine, Mary, and Cathy Eden, her brothers Bill and Joe Eden, her children Brenda Tsosie and Kevin Clark, and her 9 beautiful grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Joe. Funeral Mass will be on Thursday, March 10th, at 10 am with visitation from 9 - 10 am and Rosary at 9:30 am at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 3140 N. 51st Ave, Phoenix. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Avondale, AZ. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Cancer Society. Please visit www.hansenmortuary.com to send online condolences.
