To the family of Bob Hayes - We were sorry to read about the passing of your Father. His was a loyal sports fan and was very positive about everything. He was very proud of each of you children. A nice man to work with at the store.

When I remember Bob, the first thing I see is the omnipresent yellow tape measure that he wore around his neck...he was never without it! Together with that big wide smile of his, he was the consummate salesman, and he made shopping at the Forum fun and a matter of course. He sold me my first prom suit! My deepest sympathies to my friend, Jimmy, and the entire family. May God be with all of you as He grants your dad his due peace....

Nothing brightened my day as much as one of Mr. Hayes' smiles. He was indeed a special man.

Our condolances to the family at this time of loss. Bob will be remembered at the Annual St. Patrick's Concert by McNamara's Band, as one of the 3 charter members lost this year. It will be most appropriate, as our concert is a salute to America and the Armed Forces. May you find peace and comfort in these days.
Dale Thomas, Director, McNamara's Band, Keokuk

Our deepest sympathies go out to the Hayes family for their loss. Bob was one of those rare individuals that, after you got done speaking with him, your day just seemed brighter because of his demeanor and nature. We truly thank him also for his service to our great country. God Bless you all.
