E. Stahler Obituary

Stahler, E. Evelyn
E. Evelyn Stahler went to be with her heavenly Father on March 4, 2011. She was born in Akron, Ohio on July 17, 1926. Her mother, Julia and father, Axel Anderson were both immigrants from Sweden. Evelyn was the youngest of four children. Evelyn and her family moved to Phoenix, Arizona arriving on Mother's Day in 1957. She had a career as a dental assistant but her favorite calling was that of a mom, a grandmother, and a great-grandmother. She was a thoughtful, kind Christian woman and a wonderful role model for her family and friends. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Wayne; her son, Wesley (Andrea) Stahler, her daughter, Cherlyn (Mike) Faulds, three granddaughters: Angela (Sean) Terry, Annalisa Stahler, Chelsea Faulds and two great-granddaughters: Alexa Terry and Ava Terry along with many much loved family across the country. Her God and family were the most important things to her and she would want everyone who knew her to just be happy and love each other. Visitation is Thursday evening, March 10th from 5-8 PM at A.L. Moore Grimshaw Mortuary, 710 W. Bethany Home Rd., Phoenix, AZ. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, March 11th at Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church, 1500 W.
Maryland Ave., Phoenix, AZ 85021. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the Shepherd's Foundation. To send online condolences, please visit www.ALMoore-Grimshaw.com
