Shirley Mathis Obituary

Mathis, Shirley Ann
78, of Chandler passed away on March 7, 2011. A Phoenix native, she was preceded in death by Fred, her husband of 57 years, parents Nellie and William Wesley Lewis, and sister Janice Armour. Shirley attended North High School in Phoenix. Shirley is survived by her children Fred, Cathy O'Neill, Cindy Coco and Sheri Canales, her sister Jean Neeley, and brothers AJ and Bob Lewis. She also leaves behind 4 grandchildren, 8 great-grand children and two great-great-grandchildren (so far). Services will be conducted Friday, 11 March, 2011, 2:00 PM, at Bueler Chandler Mortuary & Chapel, 14 W. Hulet Dr., Chandler. Her final resting place will be near her husband, Fred, among the mountains and natural beauty of Northern Arizona, where they spent many summers camping with their family and friends.
