Daniel, Mark, 2B's family.......... I met 2B about 14 years ago and enjoyed my friendship with him immensely. We found much in common, both Army vets, 82nd AB, skydivers, lifelong Harley riders.
Once I had done some work on his beloved Shovel, he was headed to Sturgis that year. I had it in my shop for about 6 weeks and the day he picked it up I asked him to put about 500 miles on it before he left on his trip so that I could go over it, change the oil, tighten up some things, etc. "OK" he said. I had just laid down that night when he called. "Hey this is 2B" he says "can I bring it over?" Sure, what's the problem? I asked him. "OH, nothing wrong" he says, "I got 500 miles on it". He had riden around the loops and freeways of Phoenix the entire day, stopping only for gas! Don't think he even ate. The man loved riding that Shovel!
I count 2B among my most cherished friends, an uncommonly good man, I look forward to seeing you down the road, brother.
