Passed away March 8, 2011 just two weeks short of her 97th birthday. Olga was the beloved wife of Arizona Territory Native, Harold E. Belsher who, preceded her in death in 1980. One of her four sons, Leslie, also preceded her in death in 1988. She is survived by her other three sons; Harold (wife Judy), Kenneth (wife Judy)and Brian (wife Carol). Other surviving family members include 13 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and a sister Jean Babich. Also surviving, are many nieces, nephews and other family members that were dearly loved. Olga's Serbian immigrant parents, first settled in Chisholm, MN where Olga was born on March 22, 1914. The family moved to Ray, AZ in 1919 then to Scottsdale, AZ in 1921. They lived on a farm on what is now, Civic Center Plaza. Olga and her 9 siblings attended the Little Red Schoolhouse and Scottsdale High. Olga graduated in 1932. She also attended Lamson Business College where she first met her husband. Olga and Harold lived in the Valley most of their lives but, since 1952, particularly enjoyed their Diamond Point Ranch in Payson. Olga sincerely loved all family members and friends, especially children. A visitation will be held on Saturday March 12 for 4-7pm at Messinger Indian School Mortuary, 7601 E. Indian School Rd. A funeral service will be held at the same location on Sunday March 13 at 10am. Burial to follow at Paradise Memorial Gardens, 9300 E. Shea Blvd. A reception will follow at 6245 E. Marilyn Rd. in Scottsdale. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St, Phoenix 85014.
