Raymond Ramirez Obituary

Ramirez, Raymond (2B),
62 years young was called by our Lord on March 06, 2011. He was a member of SheetMetal Workers Local Union 359 for 38 yrs. He served in the Military with the 82nd Airborne Division/Korea. A member of Viva and Rebels (first Hispanic skydiving team) also an accomplished pilot, enjoyed riding his Harley's in town and across the United States. He was preceded in death by his parents Juan & Hortencia Ramirez. He is survived by his children Michael (Barbara), Ryan, Mark, Falissa & Daniel Ramirez. 3 grandchildren Andrew, Cory & Christopher, 4 step children, 4 step grandchildren & 16 nieces and nephews. Siblings Carmen, John, Carlos, Eddie Ramirez, and Marty Lopez. Services Sat. March 12, 2011 at St. Agnes Catholic Church 1954 N. 24th St. Viewing starting at 9:00 AM, Rosary & Mass to follow. Reception at Local 359 Hall, 2604 E. Adams. Whitney & Murphy in charge of arrangements.

2B was very busy living his life to the fullest, but he still had time to stop and help someone in need, which is what he did one time when we were having car trouble and at first he did not even know it was us.He leaves a great memory.
