Weller, Doris "Ann" Annie
73, of Wausau, Florida passed away on March 7, 2011. Doris "Ann" (Reeder) Weller went to her eternal home on March 7, 2011. Ann was born on December 25, 1937 in Wausau, Florida as the youngest of three daughters of Robert Terry Reeder and Vera Mae Reeder. Her mother, Vera, died just nine days later. Ann's grandparents, Frank and Annie Reeder, raised her in Southport, Florida. Ann graduated from Bay County High School in Panama City, Florida. She also attended Gulf Coast Community College. Ann considered her role as a wife and mother to be the most important calling in her life, yet still managed to find time to keep busy volunteering at church, and working part-time jobs to help support the family. One of her favorite past times was gardening, as she spent many hours tending to her flower and vegetable gardens. She also enjoyed cooking for her family and friends. Ann and her husband Sonny were also very active in local square dancing groups. She also enjoyed playing guitar in a small, local country-western band. Ann was the grandmother to fifteen grandchildren, and sixteen great-grandchildren. She is survived by her Aunt Iris Reeder of Southport, Florida, and her numerous nieces and nephews. Ann is preceded in death by her oldest sister Dovie Hartzog of Panama City, Florida. She is survived by Dovie's husband, Cleatus Hartzog of Panama City, Florida. Ann is survived by her older sister, Deloris Busby of Fountain, Florida. Ann's father Robert Reeder married her stepmother, Emma Reeder - giving her two half-brothers: Robert Earl Reeder of Jacksonville, Florida; and Paul "Cart" Reeder of Panama City, Florida. Ann was the beloved wife of Oscar "Sonny" Weller for forty wonderful years. She is survived by her children, Steven Spencer of Parachute, Colorado; Stanley Spencer of Buckeye, Arizona; David Weller of Glendale, Arizona; Becky (Weller) Parks of Peoria, Arizona; Pamela Suma of Peoria, Arizona; Cheryl Hough of Camp Verde, Arizona; and Robert Weller of Grand Junction, Colorado. Ann is preceded in death by her sons, Ronald Weller and James Weller; as well as her daughter, Susan Weller. Memorial Services will be Saturday March 12 at 11 a.m. at Best Funeral Services 9380 W.
