Joseph Bennett Obituary
Joe went to be with his Lord on March 9, 2011 at the age of 70. He was born in Philadelphia, PA on November 11, 1940 and moved to Arizona in 1978. Having studied electrical engineering, he worked in management for utilities in PA and AZ. Also, Joe was a pastor in PA and remained active in various churches, most recently Church of the Redeemer in Mesa. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Betty; his sister and brother-in-law, Cheryl and Wayne McKinley; his daughters and sons-in-law, Beth and Paul Borgesen Jr. and Leanne and Carl Martin; his grandchildren, Salvador and Christian Lopez and Jonah and Hannah Martin. The memorial Service will be held at Church of the Redeemer, 717 N. Stapley Dr., Mesa, AZ at 11:00 am on Monday, March 14, 2011. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Redeemer Christian School, 719 N. Stapley Dr., Mesa, AZ 85203. Arrangements by Mountain View Funeral Home (480-832-2850).

Betty, Beth and Leanne - Joe was a wonderful man, friend, boss, peer and pastor to me and to so many. Judy Swartz and I were able to attend the beautiful service. Melinda Pekrul was a tremendous soloist - Joe would have loved it! I will miss his smile and his spirit. My prayers are with you.
