Chad S. Brussel, 24 of Cave Creek, Arizona, passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2011 in Aurora, IL. He was born December 17, 1986 in Phoenix, Arizona. He graduated from Cactus Shadows in 2005 and was currently pursuing his dream in the nursing field. Chad was a caring, compassionate, sensitive young man. His love for children and the elderly was displayed in his past work. His tender love for animals was a gift. God gave this precious son, brother, uncle, friend to us for 24 years, now we must give him back to the Lord. May Chad rest in peace. Chad is survived by his mother and stepfather Judy (Dr. Max) Lind of Cave Creek, AZ; his brother Todd J. Brussel of Phoenix; his sister Shannon (Steve) Olmsted of Scottsdale, AZ; his niece Ava Olmsted and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father Hugh James Brussel. Visitation will be 6-9 pm, Tuesday March 15, 2011, Rosary at 8 pm at Hansen Desert Hills Chapel, 6500 E. Bell Road, Scottsdale, AZ. Mass will be at 10:30 am, Wednesday at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 32648 N. Cave Creek Rd. Burial will follow at Paradise Memorial Gardens, 9300 E. Shea Blvd. Memorial contributions in Chad's name may be made to the Arizona Humane Society and Big Brothers Big Sisters. Please visit www.hansenmortuary.com to send online condolences.
