Antoinette Contadino Obituary

Contadino, Antoinette M.
March 24, 1916 - March 8, 2011. Antoinette Contadino (DiMuzio), 94, beloved mother, wife, grandmother, sister and aunt, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 8, 2011. Antoinette was born in Cincinnati, Ohio to Vincenzo DiMuzio and Vincenza Castelluccio. She and her husband John, were married on April 27, 1938 and resided in Cincinnati until September 1995, when they moved to Scottsdale, Arizona. Antoinette was preceded in death by her husband John in 2004, her parents, sister, Helen Kennedy, and brothers, Angelo and Joe. Antoinette spent her entire life caring for her children, grandchildren and those she came in contact with. She is survived by daughter, Mary Ann Klei (Gerry) and son, Joe (Nancy), both residents of Arizona; son, Fr. Gene, SM, Pastor of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Cincinnati, and son, Bro. Jim, SM, retired Principal of St. Laurence College, Dublin, Ireland. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 12.5 great grandchildren, her sister, Vera Bergdolt, and brother, Rudolph, along with many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be at Whitney Murphy Funeral Home on Monday, March 14, from 6-8:00 p.m. with rosary at 7:30. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Franciscan Renewal Center Tuesday, March 15, at 1:00 p.m. with burial to follow at St. Francis Cemetery in Phoenix. In lieu of flowers, any donations can be made in Antoinette's name to Order of Malta, Lourdes Pilgrimage fund, c/o Dick Hannon, 34 East Interlacken Drive, Phoenix, AZ 85022.
