Marian Mazzarelli Obituary
Marian Lucille Mazzarelli passed away peacefully at her home in Mesa, Arizona on March 2, 2011. Marian was born on September 27, 1925 in Breckenridge, Michigan. She had a long and successful career in the fine dining industry in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Marian loved doing many different types of crafts. She also volunteered many hours of her time to charitable work at Scottsdale Healthcare South. All who knew her loved her and she will be greatly missed. Marian is survived by her sister Bernice Reinke, daughters Margaret Lovins, Rosalie Allen, Mary Alyce Purdy as well as 7 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. A celebration of her life will be held
at 10:00 AM, Saturday, March 19, 2011, at Messinger Mortuary 7601 E. Indian School Rd. in Scottsdale. Contributions in her memory may be made to Hospice of Arizona, 19820 N. 7th Ave. Phoenix, Arizona 85027.

I was a server at Sayfees in the 1980s and 90's. Marian taught me how to carve Dover Sole. She was like a mother figure. Always dressed well and looked great. Loved her! Gordon Cheyne.
