Hi Granny,
I know we talk everyday, but it is so didfferent not hearing your voice and laughter when I do talk to you. I still have your phone number in my phone, maybe I will call it and you might answer it someday?!?! :oI I know that is crazy....but I hear it runs in the family.
Dad has not been doing so well. I know that you are watching over him, becuse your children are always in your heart no matter what kind of relationship you have or may have had. I know that is so true for me.....there are times granny when I really need your advice. I am not sure if I am helping my children or hindering them with some of my choices. The babies are such a joy to me even when I am wore out. They miss you so much. They talk about you often & they had so much fun on your birthday when we went to visit you.
We missed you at Easter & Guya's Birthday. It was not the same at all! Te kids believe that you are here in the house watching over the girls and myself.
I am sure you know about Shelly and you are watching over her too. I know for you family came first and I try but I do not think I am doing it as well as I should be. I need to start working on that more, please help to guide me to be a better person. I know you are gone but I still need your guidence.
Always within me & beside me I know you are there.
I love you bunchs!!!!

Hey Granny,
Happy Easter. Been a while since I visited here and just wanted to say Hi and Thank You for watching over us this past year. After you left us, things were really tough on us all, but things have since turned around and I have to believe you had a hand in that, so thank you for watching over all of us. We miss you and speak of you often. Especially missed you yesterday on my birthday when there was no hummingbird cake to be eaten. I am sure they are loving it up in Heaven.
Bye for now.

Forever in my heart,

Guy

Grandma,

I miss you everyday. You have always been there for me! Even when it was tough I'm sure.....
You gave to me, love, unconditionally, a shoulder to cry on, a lap to lay my head upon and comfort me, and a swat on the behind when you felt it was needed, (even at 18).
You have been my role model, my hero, my mentor. You taught me how to be a strong woman and wife, a good mom and a better grandma. If you had not been in my life I do not know who I would be today. For all of these things I want to say "Thank You".
Even Guy knew you were the one that he had to ask for my hand in marriage. That is how important a person you were and always will be in my life!
You said to me that you did not want to be here for your 91st birthday. But, I want to tell you that you gave me the best birthday gift I could have had. The only place I wanted to be was with you on that day and I was.
I know you are there for my calls everyday as I go to and from work. But now I don't have to use the phone and you hear me better then ever. Please give both my grandpas & my brothers hugs for me.
I love you and I will talk to you tomorrow.
LOL (Lots Of Love)

She made everyone she met feel as if they were family. It says a great deal about a person when so many people moarn their passing. She had a great life and family and so many friends. She is now an Angel watching over all and giving her suport and love to you when you need it most. She was that kind of great lady. She will be missed.

Look inside our souls and you will feel our love washing in waves over every moment of our sharing...
Look inside our thoughs and you will see silver stars dancing our names across the heavens...

Grandma - I'm sorry I will not be at your funeral, but I am glad you were able to meet my son, just a few weeks before you were called to rest in peace. I am happy you and I were able to say what needed to be said, deep down knowing this day was coming soon.

I will pass on the unconditional love you always showed everyone, so that your mission in life will be carried forward. I look forward to games of uno with him, and making a card holder for his little hands out of butter container tops. I will explain to him the legend of your chocolate sauce and pancakes, home-made ice cream, chicken and dumplings, and eating all kinds of beans and soup using an onion as the only utensil.

There are so many stories that will be told, and I believe every one of them, no matter who tells it, will involve how big your heart was and how great your love was. Nobody will tell the stories quite like you, but they will be told. We owe it to you.

Say hi to Grandpa. We will love you always.

Mom,
From my first breath to your last, I don't believe I have not loved you everyday. For that I'm greatful and for your love, I'm greatful. A big part of my life has ended with you and the void will not be filled. One can not replace a Mother.

First off I would like the whole family to know that I am truly sorry that Granny G has passed but having just lost my most precious friend and mother I know first hand that Granny G is in a better place. I know the pain and sorrow we all feel and there are no words that can really make it any better. I have many fond memories and will forever hold them dear to my heart. This truly breaks my heart more and will add to my grieving. Here's to her wonderful smile and kind heart and especially her chocolate surup & pancakes, to all the card games and laughter and hugs. May you rest in peace Grandma Griffin and if you see my mom give her hugs for me :-) love you.. your other adopted Granddaughter Ledeen
Lorrie, Sherry, Misty, Amber and family I love you and I am here for you always!

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.
