Herro, Gloria M.
80 of Phoenix, AZ. passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on March 11, 2011. Born October 28, 1930 to Jesse & Viola Savin in Bayview, WI. Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin & friend. Survived by her husband, Alan Herro, her 6 children, Brahim (Shinder), Kahill (Linda), Edward (Michelle), Mary & Alan II Herro, Nejla (Danny) Franco, her sisters Phyllis Siegmann & Sandra Dick, her 12 grandchildren, many nieces, nephews & cousins. She joins her brother in Heaven Edward Savin. Services entrusted to Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, www.whitneymurphyfuneralhome.com. Visitation at 6pm with a Rosary at 7pm, Wednesday, March 16th, at St. John of the Desert Melkite Catholic Church, 3718 East Greenway Road, Phoenix. Funeral Mass at 11am, Thursday, March 17th at St. John of the Desert. Interment will follow at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery.

Wonderful service tonight. I have the fondest memories of your mom dating all the way back to our high school days. Her always trying to get me to eat, even if we just came from lunch or dinner. Always having the biggest hugs, always having the biggest smile, always so excited to see me and always treating me like one of her kids. Al, Mary and the rest of the family,
I heard about your loss from through friends in the scouts and was so shocked. It was always great to hang out with Gloria at the scout meetings when she came with Abe. I very much enjoyed our conversations. She was an amaizing woman and I know you will be miss her deeply. Our thoughts & prayers are with you all!
