Small, David
57 of Phoenix, Arizona passed away on March 12, 2011. He was born in Hollywood, California on December 23, 1953. David was a Cost Estimator in Aerospace. David is survived by his wife of 25 years, Lorrie, his daughters Carrie (Demian) Snipes, Alyson Small and sons Timothy and Devon Small, his grandchildren Lennon and Olivia Snipes. A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 15, 2011 from 6-8pm at First Baptist Church at 15450 S. 21st St., Phoenix, Arizona 85048 with Funeral Services to follow Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at 10:00am. Dear Lorrie and family,
We have so many wonderful memories of Dave that we truly cherish. I can still hear him scolding me on his visits to our home when I wasn't doing something just the way it should be done, in Dave's mind, and the humor that came with it. I was lying in bed the other night remembering how Dave and Chris were very vocal while playing video games in the wee hours of the morning. Difficult to sleep but worth listening to them having so much fun and enjoying their boyish play time!
So many projects in our home he labored with Chris to complete, always to perfection. Backpacking, camping, and Lake Powell trips, are our fondest memories. The other day I found this beautiful baby picture of Christelle which was taken at your and Dave's wedding. You and Dave have given so much to us, we are so greatful for this friendship. Happy memories and knowing he is in Heaven enjoying true peace and joy is most comforting. We hope you know how much we love you and pray that his peace and joy will also be with you and comfort you.
